MESSAGE
We all experience hurts in our lives. People you trusted to protect you and love you may have let you down, cheated on you, lied to you, or abandoned you. Perhaps you have hurt yourself by making bad choices and not treating yourself with respect you deserve.
No matter what you have done, or what has been done to you, Jesus forgives you; loves you, and wants you to be home with him. You may think that you are not able to forgive those who hurt you or even to forgive yourself. Jesus teaches us that the act of Forgiveness sets us free.
BIBLE
Jesus Christ brought Forgiveness to many through God’s bountiful gift.
Romans 5:15
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.
1 John 1:9
PRAYER
Jesus help me to forgive those who have hurt me and help me to forgive myself for the bad choices I have made. Take away my resentment and my hurt. Thank you for loving me and accepting me. Please fill me with your love. Amen.
APPLICATION
Say these words aloud:
I am forgiven of all my sins
I am able to forgive others
I am healed of my hurts

I know Jesus guides my path

Love is patient and kind. Love is not Jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses Faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
PRAYER
Jesus, allow me to know what it means to let you into my heart. Help me to believe I deserve to be filled with your love. May I always be an example of God’s love. Amen.
APPLICATION
Close your eyes and let Jesus give you a hug. Listen to Him tell you that He loves you. See the smile on His face because He is with you. Feel the warmth as He brings calm and healing to your soul. Allow the peace of His presence to come over you.

It is easy for our minds to dwell in the hurts of this world. When we focus on the problems in our lives we can lose perspective on the many blessings that God is giving us daily.

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Jesus, please help me to remember that when my heart is filled with gratitude and love it does not have room for anything else.
APPLICATION
